Solar Hot Water

Choosing between solar hot water and a new bolier

Hi

I've decided I want to do something to cut the energy bills in my new home (new to me rather than newly built). The loft and walls (according to the survey) have been done and most of the windows are replacement double glazed. I've looked into wind turbines but discounted that idea as they seem to get mixed reports. I'm thinking about a new boiler or possibly solar hot water. I can afford to spend around £2000-£3000. Does anyone have a view on which might be the best route to go in terms of saving most money?
